Yes, unfortunately. I limit my purchases and definitely think lower price range. Fortunately Trader Joe's has good selections at reasonable prices for wines from all over the world. My preference is for a Spanish Red. Whites are fine, too. Economy...

Hey Peter, sorry to hear about the flu getting you down. Sounds like you should be having some good old chicken soup. Would send you some but you are a bit too far away unfortunately. Ok, what is a trebuchet? Probably should give a Google, but let...

Thanks, J. Michael. The French Press is really like brewing tea in my Bodum Tea Infuser Pot. I do own an electric water kettle. Add boiling water to the center of the pot containing tea leaves, press plunger down to stop the infusing. I also own m...

Got hooked long ago while staying at a fancy Boston Hotel. Had the best coffee, croissants & jam. The coffee is Victor (nitro-pak) Lincolnshire Blend. A real smooth, good-tasting coffee. A Division of S & D Coffee Inc. Concord, NC. (No Starbucks f...

Glad to join in here. I am a "real" coffee lover, especially in the morning. I am probably one of the few who makes my own coffee at home in a Krupps Coffee Maker. The more efficient brewing system, the better the coffee. I am not saying spending ...

If you love brownies, want them healthy, are willing to bake an easy recipe, want to save money and/or don't have a Whole Foods near you, then get any GF brownie mix (I love Bob's Red Mill brand), replace the liquid in the recipe (eggs, water, oil...

Whole Foods has a whole section for Gluten Free items in the frozen food case. I had delicious brownies by "Foods By George". Gluten-free, Wheat-free, Lactose-free, Casein-free, Dairy-free, Soy-free. You may ask what is left? The most delicious, m...

Sounds great. I like the contrast of granny smiths with any kind of nut butter. I like the idea of this group; looking forward to some new recipes. My favorite kind of eating is tapas portions so I get to taste a lot of different foods at one meal!

A nice Gala apple, sliced with a dip of Cashew Butter (comes in a jar just like Peanut Butter except made with cashews, of course.) A simple, healthy breakfast treat or a late afternoon snack. Just slice your favorite apple of choice and spread on...

Hello,
It's so true that times spent eating with family and friends become memories to be treasured. Preserving family recipes is so important as they are a large part of a family's history. I feel very lucky to have had the experience of putting "Grandmother's Cookbook" together with my grandmother. We had so much fun together! Our cookbook can be found at www.grandmotherscookbook.com. Thank you!

It has been a while but if you've been to Toscanini's in Cambridge, you've perhaps had one of my flavors from
back in the day - I have been threatening to get back in there and get on the machine...it may just happen this summer!

Thank you --- yes, many adjacent interests! I'm not here that often, though. Do you do Facebook, Souper?

You might want to contact member Mitch Wondolowski. While he doesn't have it on his profile, he has had a wonderful chowder cafe and was looking into manufacturing his soups.
