What makes me a Foodie?
I cook, I'm an "eater!", I'm a gourmet, I love dining, I like wine
About Me:
I am an Associate Broker with The Swan Agency Sotheby’s International Realty. I specialize in selling Inns and Bed and Breakfasts statewide. My husband and I moved here several years ago from the Washington, DC area to enjoy the Maine way of life as Foodies and innkeepers ourselves. Not long after tweaking our marketing campaign, we had increased the room revenue by more than 80%. Realizing the impact that web marketing had on our business, I decided to apply my marketing tools to help sellers find buyers for their inns and bed and breakfasts. Along with marketing inns and B&B's in Maine, I focus on some of the more emotional common elements which draw us to innkeeping - food, wine, travel, art, entertaining and sharing your personal B&B style - as a lifestyle, an investment and a home. My combined 20 years of experience in commercial real estate, property management, marketing and innkeeping enables me to be a well versed Realtor. Maine offers such an abundance of natural beauty for nature lovers, photographers and anyone who can appreciate and respect unspoiled nature. I believe that quality photography is key and hope that my passion for marketing, graphic design, innkeeping and all things Maine is evident in my listings and photos. I believe everything in moderation and my glass is always half full. I hope that my blogs convey this. http://danamoos.com - food blog: http://mydeliciousmornings.com

I looked at your websites! Amazing. :) Sounds so exciting, wish I were doing it right now. :) I think it's really fun that you're blogging about the experience and the food that you're making...kinda like Julie Julia in a way. My favorite book.
You are a very talented individual, think I can learn a lot from you, thanks for the permission to pick your brain! Cheers!

I was afraid you'd say something with the words Micro lens in it. I'm wanting to purchase a new camera but am looking for the convenience of a small point and shoot (think will fit in your back pocket small). Would you know of any to suggest? Or should I be thinking bigger?

Brilliant photos! Do you mind if I ask what kind of camera you use?

Hi Dana, welcome! What superb photos - are you the photographer?
I shall be in Oregon, wine tasting in November - visited Maine a few years ago.
again - welcome!

Welcome to the Table Dana! You are our 200th member!

I'm very curious about these mouthwatering photos. Where are they from?

I'd also like to introduce you to cookbook author and Dancing Spoon Magazine contributor Kate Gooding, another Maine member. Check out her recipe for Braised Goat Shanks with Orange Zest.
