Recovering from a starvation diet!

Just spent 6 days in the hospital with a massive infection in my colon. Doctors unsure what caused it; but chemotherapy is suspected.Food in the hospital consisted of liquids and non -residue foods. YUK! Gotta get back to what I love. Headed for one of my favorite joints on Thursday afternoon for shrimp.Mojo shrimp is expected to fix everything.YUM!

Something different & healthy

Lots of us resolve to cook more interesting, healthy choices rather than the same recipes and foods that we always cooked. I've been using bison recently rather than ground beef and have been really happy with it. A friend gave me a recipe for a southwestern chicken stew that I'm planning to try out tomorrow. (If it's good, I'll post it here!)
